Century™ Wireline – Vision

Vision is a comprehensive IT system that enables any organization to manage, coordinate, and synchronize all service delivery components, from sales force automation and contract management through provisioning and billing. In addition to providing standard business solutions such as help desk support and order management, Vision contains additional tools and functionality specific to satellite telecommunications. The Vision Space and Vision Broadcast sub-systems were designed specifically to deliver world-class service and efficiently manage valuable satellite and teleport resources at the same time. With such a tightly integrated, yet flexible foundation, Vision immediately provides critical information in an intuitive format that allows business executives to determine the state of the business and analyze how to make improvements in rapid time.

Vision is a modular, web-enabled platform that provides the following functionality:

Customer Management: Tracks all critical customer data, including customer details, contacts, billing accounts, addresses, contracts and contract approval requests.

Product Catalog: Provides flexible product and service definitions.

Service Provisioning and Workflow: Allows users to create, validate and manage service orders.

Billing and Adjustments: Supports monthly recurring, non-recurring, and usage-based charges on cyclical, interim, and on-demand invoices and statements distributed in paper or electronic formats.

Network Inventory: Integrates and enhances the third party network resource management system to provide tools that manage physical network assets as well as logical and physical circuits.

Vendor Lease Management: Maintains vendor information, leases, leased services, and cost items. Master leases, lease amendments, and tasks related to lease implementation are supported.

Customer Support: Combined with integrated trouble ticketing, notes and follow-up system this application maintains tickets, ticket relationships, ticket assignments, escalations, and reporting.

Sales Automation: Streamlines the quote, contract creation and order placement process.

Space Management: Manages the inventory of transponder assets, and provides industry-specific tools to perform link budget analysis and RF frequency assignments.

Broadcast: Provides call center support for booking occasional-use broadcast feeds, including real-time price quoting, resource management, and billing for event-based broadcast services.

Management Reporting: A comprehensive set of reports that can be customized by multiple selection criteria and downloaded into Excel® for further data manipulation and analysis.

Customer Self Service: Authorized customers have direct access to Vision information via the Customer Connect Web Portal.
