RESTON, Va. /PRNewswire/ -- Excelacom has added Tim Dadd as Vice President UK to head the company's sales and business development efforts in the UK. Excelacom is a global software and services provider for customers in telecommunications and communications-related industries.

For 20 years, Dadd has delivered innovative solutions to companies in the areas of order capture, fulfillment, billing, assurance and accounting. He was most recently with Openreach, the infrastructure division of BT Group, where he headed five different teams focused on systems architecture, development and optimization. From 2006-2008 he was the project director responsible for separating the Openreach system from the rest of BT.
Previously he was general manager of the solutions group within an Australian software company serving the telecommunications industry, where he sold products and services to carriers in Australia, the U.S., South America and Europe.
