RESTON, Va. /PRNewswire/ -- Excelacom, a software and services provider for customers in telecommunications and communications-related industries, announces the appointment of Haim Kantor as General Manager, Major Accounts. In this role, Kantor will be responsible for crafting and delivering to market business solutions that enable the rapid development and growth sought by today's mid-sized carriers and the innovative communications services that leverage their connectivity and reach.
"There's a real gap in today's communications market between the almost insatiable consumer demand for innovative offerings and the back office systems capabilities that providers need to deliver those products quickly, profitably and sustainably," said Majid Naderkhani, Excelacom's CEO. "Haim Kantor is an accomplished senior executive who has successfully conceived, developed and grown new services – and entire market sectors – for major B/OSS providers. I have tasked him with guiding Excelacom's initiatives in bridging this gap to provide the nimble services that allow providers to better respond to evolving needs and revenue sweet spots. I look forward to working with him on this effort."

Kantor comes to Excelacom from Amdocs, where he was a member of the North America Management Team responsible for business development, sales, and project implementation of B/OSS solutions. He has extensive experience leading sales organizations and providing them with the support tools and lead generation capabilities necessary to make them successful.
Throughout his career, Kantor has shown a keen eye for imminent market needs, moving to meet them quickly with innovative, early-stage offerings – and then expanding them to satisfy broader ranges of sector business needs. He understands complex technology issues, translates them into simple market messages on the sales side, and guides clients through systems transformations that align their technology investments with their business objectives and market needs.
"The expansion in the types of services that live in and on our communications networks has, in many cases, outstripped the ability of service platforms to meet their needs," said Kantor. "We think there is a unique opportunity for Excelacom – with our modular and highly configurable approach to building solutions – to play a key role in filling this gap for forward-looking, entrepreneurial providers. I'm really passionate about this opportunity and I look forward to working with the Excelacom team to grow our business with specialized offerings that help entrepreneurial carriers address the challenges involved in serving customers and devices that don't fit the existing billing and customer management paradigms."
