Dinesh Dhanasekharan
Chief Technology Officer
Dinesh Dhanasekharan is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Excelacom. As CTO, he helps drive the company’s technology strategy, leads the engineering team towards continued delivery of innovative products, and provides executive-level consulting services.
Since starting with Excelacom in 2005, Mr. Dhanasekharan has held several senior positions with the company. From 2005 to 2006, he was the lead architect and delivery manager for the company’s pioneer product, Century, a lead to order solution. In 2007, Mr. Dhanasekharan was promoted to Vice President of Research and Development, where he managed a team of 350+ engineers and consultants, as well as the company’s R&D investment and solution delivery portfolios. In this role, he also deployed global delivery teams and consultants to implement standardized and scalable delivery processes throughout the US, Europe, and India. He was promoted to CTO in 2010.
Before joining Excelacom, Mr. Dhanasekharan worked as a consultant for several firms, including BearingPoint (KPMG), National Tech Team, and Tata Consulting Services. As a Manager at BearingPoint, he managed a multi-million dollar engagement over a 3-year performance period and led proposal teams contributing to multi-year revenue.
Mr. Dhanasekharan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the College of Engineering, Anna University in Chennai, India.
